* Cabaret Moulin Rouge
2008, France / Paris
The Moulin Rouge (French Moulin Rouge, literally "Red Mill") is a classic cabaret in Paris, built in 1889, in the red-light district near Place Pigalle.
The opening on October 6, 1889 was timed to coincide with the beginning of the World Exhibition in Paris and the completion of the construction of the Eiffel Tower.
The cabaret is designed for 850 visitors who, as in the days of Toulouse-Lautrec, come to see the famous cancan, one of the hallmarks of France.
It is forbidden to take pictures inside - I used photos from open sources.
