Milan Cathedral (Italian: Duomo di Milano), or Cathedral of the Nativity of the Virgin Mary (Italian: Cattedrale di Santa Maria Nascente), is a cathedral located in the historic center of Milan. Dedicated to the Nativity of the Blessed Virgin Mary.

One of the largest in Europe. Among Gothic temples, it is second only to Seville in capacity, and among Italian temples, only to St. Peter's Basilica in the Vatican.
One of the main attractions of Milan is the roof of the Duomo, the city's main cathedral. There are 3,400 sculptures and 135 spiers, at the highest is a gilded sculpture of the Virgin.
