AVES DEL PARAÍSO (Birds of Paradise) - This is one of PortAventura's most unusual and educational shows, starring a variety of parrots and other exotic birds from different continents. This is the only show in Europe featuring the cassowary, the most ancient of all bird species. Aves del Paraíso was first shown in 1995 when PortAventura Park opened, and has become the longest-running show, consistently captivating audiences thanks to the talent of the presenter and constant renewal throughout this time.
The first time I visited this show with my daughter was in 2004. Incredibly, 10 years later (2014) I couldn’t believe my eyes - the same presenter lit up again!
