The dormant volcano Teide ("Hell") on the island of Tenerife (Canaries) h = 3718 m. Its relative height from the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean is 7500 meters. It is the highest point in this ocean and all of Spain, as well as the third largest volcano on Earth from the base (bottom)
The cable car starts at an altitude of 2356 m and in eight minutes lifts a trailer for 45 people to a height of 3555 m. The remaining 163 m to the edge of the crater is limited access, with a special pass.
